Company History

 

Denward Manufacturing was established 1964 as small operation specialising in the manufacture of traditional equal arm balances to be used day to day in independent pharmacies around the Country.

 

1993 saw the company’s acquisition by Stuart Halfhide Company Director, with the company relocating a short while later to Chelmsford, Essex, where it now resides. Due to our continued expansion we have recently invested in a new purpose built factory/warehouse within the locality.

 

As a family run organisation we have sort to bring to the customer qualities rarely seen in this competitive sector and combined with our knowledge, research, and continued product development Denward Manufacturing now supplies some of the largest retail pharmacy chains in the UK.

 

In 2000 a decision was made to bring our products to the world wide web through our website www.pharmacy-equipment.co.uk and combined with the introduction of our new range of controlled drug products we have seen our customer base expand further to now include Primary Care Trusts, Universities, Care Homes and other Healthcare professionals.
